Alexandre Le Tiec

Observatoire de Paris, France
Alexandre is a CNRS researcher working at Paris Observatory in the field of high-energy astrophysics. His research focuses mainly on the physics of black holes and gravitational waves generated by pairs of compact stars. He has recently developed a passion for the history of life on Earth and that of our species, Homo sapiens. Alongside his astrophysics research, he is now conducting an investigation across the natural, human and social sciences, with the aim of tracing the roots of the Anthropocene. In his spare time, he reads books, listens to music and goes for walks, sometimes at the same time.
